The team then toured a pop-up installation in a diverse variety of social spaces (cafes, libraries, arts centres, drop-in centres), inviting passers by and participants to browse a selection of LPs, select and play a record of their choice and engage in a one-to-one conversation with a Turntable host. For the Fringe in 2017, the Turntable invitation was extended to the people of Edinburgh. The stories and memories gathered at workshops throughout the country informed the show, with a soundtrack chosen by the audience, and each night a special guest was invited along, Turntable also Scotland in spring/summer 2018, and visited the Here and Now Festival in Mannheim, Germany.
