A dance project with six dancers spanning three generations, resulting in a performance, film and book made of conversations with the dancers describing their personal narratives.

A solo spoken word and sound performance in English, Scots and Gaelic exploring personal relationships with voice and languages of Scotland through the industrial age.

A participatory storytelling/music project touring the country as a pop-up record shop, workshop and performance. Part of the Made in Scotland Showcase at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Commissioned monologue for the UK-wide project, performed live and available on the CTWIF app.

Large-scale community performance on the Forth and Clyde Canal, celebrating the history and stories of the area. Featuring venues and organisations from Spiers Wharf and the surrounding area.
Writer in Residence, Children's Hospice Association:
Self-initiated post funded by Creative Scotland. Working with families and staff across two hospices to collect and engage in storytelling experiences through recorded conversations, working towards a publication and sound installation.

Working alongside the current creative team of directors and arts facilitators to provide script development and deliver writing, language and text workshops as part of the engagement project A Word in Your Ear.

Development of a new children's Opera with support from Platform. Working on ideas of an interactive experience for young people and their carers through sound, design and movement.
Director and Dramaturg, Anamchara, Scottish Opera, Theatre Royal:
A series of engagement processes with groups of artists, educators and musicians from Botswana, India and Canada to create a new opera commission for the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games in collaboration with writer Alexander McCall Smith and composer Pippa Murphy.
Writer, The Pokey Hat, Grinagog/Culture 2014:
A devised performance based on interviews with residents of Glasgow’s East End – a family-friendly show about our relationship with the past through ice cream. Performed in an ice cream van as part of the Commonwealth Games. Nominated for CATS award: Best Show for Children and Young People.

Solo performance with participatory men’s choir: a piece of performance poetry focusing on the language of religion and Glasgow dialect. Supported by a National Theatre of Scotland Artist Attachment. Nominated for CATS award: Best Music and Sound.

A series of participation and performance projects including Pop Up Theatre Royal (public engagement project and community touring performance); Residency with Children’s Hospice Association Scotland; Platypus in Boots (writer of libretto for the company’s first national touring opera for 3-5 year olds); international work with Georgian State Opera in Tbilisi; and various Early Years Opera activities.

A collaboration between: a large-scale community engagement and performance project based in Clydebank dealing with issues of employment, culminating in an outdoor performance on the former site of John Brown’s Shipyard with an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.
